As Oprah would say, “These are a few of my favorite things”. No, really, I don’t know what I would do without these beauty products. These are items that I have used for quite some time, and they are things I use every day, and I really would be at a complete loss if they ever stopped making any of them. I would literally have to buy out the remainder of their stock just so I would never run out. And feel free to share any of your suggestions here, or experiences with these products – I love to hear from you guys!!
| Wet Brush – This brush is amazing! However, it is more amazing on my dry hair than on my wet hair. It’s great to brush through tangles, however the thing that it does best is to smooth my hair out. This fabulous brush saves me a ridiculous amount of time every day. I literally do not have to blow dry or straighten my hair when I use this. How? Here’s what I do… I wash my hair, towel dry it and brush it. I go about my morning routine, putting on my makeup, getting dressed, get in the car and run the brush through my hair once. I have a 45 minute drive to work so I brush through it two or three more times on the way to work (be careful when you’re driving!!!) and then I’m good to go! My other trick is to wrap my hair up in a loose bun for about an hour, and then when I take it down, I have a little bit of a wave. But anyways, I digress.. this brush is amazing and saves me so much time! | ||
| Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Styling Oil – I found this fabulous oil several years back and I have been using it ever since. It is not heavy and greasy like alot of the other styling oils out there. Now, it can be those things if you put waaaaay too much, but it just takes a dab or two of this stuff to make your hair look amazing. The biggest problem I have with my hair is that it tends to get fly away/frizzy. Other people think my hair looks great, but I see a frizzy mess.. and I don’t even live in a humid climate! You can either run this product through your hair when it’s wet or dry. I find it works best after its dry and you can focus on the problem areas. It works wonders, it makes my hair look like I have blown it dry or flat ironed it for a bit. And the SMELL is AMAZING. I always joke with the stylist that they should make a body spray that has this smell, I would buy it by the case. So, not only does my hair look good, it smells amazing! | ||
| Oil of Olay Total Effects Refreshing Citrus Scrub– So.. you know all those ads you see for removing brown spots? Don’t spend all that money on the ridiculous products out there when you can spend much less on this product. I accidentally stumbled upon this miracle product while buying travel size items for a trip. I literally accidentally bought this, I though it was a body wash, so I decided to use it and see how I liked it. And how did I like it? Let me just say this, if they ever stop making it, I will buy out the factory of the last of it so that I never run out! Why, you ask? Because it makes my skin look so much younger and fresh, and the best effect of all? It has removed 95% of the brown spots on my hands! I originally intended to only use this on my face and neck, but I rubbed it on my hands one day and thought, Wow, my skin feels great after that. I kept it up once a day and my hands literally look 10 years younger! I can’t say enough good things about this product. It smells amazing, feels amazing, and makes me look younger, what’s not to love? | ||
| Blistex Silk & Shine – This is another one of my go-to products. If I can’t find this in my purse, I feel lost. I have used chapstick, eos, soft lips, and the list goes on. This is hands down my favorite of all time. It feels like satin sheets are on my lips.. I know that sounds crazy but this stuff feels amazing. And it lasts a long time. It makes my lips feel amazing and I don’t know where I’d be without it!! |
